Michael Spurlock is a good signing
Although nothing is official yet, Laurent Robinson probably won't play against the Bears this weekend, creating a need for a wide receiver. To fill that gap, the Jaguars have added Michael Spurlock.
Spurlock is a good signing, not because of his receiving prowess, but because he is a solid special teams player.
It's unclear whether Spurlock will stick with Jacksonville (probably not), but by adding him, the Jaguars added to their special teams stable, as well as bringing in a receiver that may make a play or two.
Spurlock's claim to fame came in 2009 when he returned a kickoff for a touchdown for the first time in the Buccaneers' history. You can see that play below.
