6:15 PM ET - 30 of the NFL's 32 teams headed to the Georgia Pro Day today. The only two not there were the Chargers and the Vikings, says WUOG 90.5 FM in Georgia.
Among the Bulldog prospects are two potential first rounders. Wide receiver A.J. Green is considered by most to be the best receiver in the draft and considered by some the best player in the draft. He is unlikely to fall outside the top 10 picks. DE/OLB Justin Houston has tons of athleticism and will likely be drafted early because of it. At 6'3, 270 he is said to have ran a 40 yard dash in under 4.6 seconds at his pro day today. Houston is being projected by most to be an outside linebacker in a 3-4.
6:05 PM ET - 25 teams sent personnel to the Nevada Pro Day today, where they have one of the best draft prospect class in the history of the school. According to Rotoworld's Evan Silva, among the personnel in attendance was the newest Jaguars coach, QB coach Mike Sheppard.
Sheppard was no doubt there to see Nevada QB Colin Kaepernick. Kaepernick has been flying up draft boards due to his elite arm and athleticism, coupled with leadership and intelligence. He is a possibility as a first rounder, but is more likely going to fit into the second or third round come April.
6:00 PM ET - The Iowa Athletics site reports that there were 37 NFL scouts and coaches in attendance for the Iowa Pro Day yesterday. Among those in attendance was Jaguars regional scout, Jason DesJarlais.
The Hawkeyes are represented most notably by a pair of defensive ends that could both go in the first round. Adrian Clayborn is a 6'3, 281 pound end with 4.78 speed and Christian Ballard is a 6'4, 283 pound end with 4.75 speed. Both players offer the potential to be 3-4 defensive ends as well as 4-3 ends.
1:25 PM ET - Eric Edholm of Pro Football Weekly and The Wall Street Journal reports Arizona C Colin Baxter is scheduled to meet with the Jaguars, Dolphins and Falcons. I swear I said that about a few days ago, but that was Central Michigan C Colin Miller.
Baxter was likely to be one of the higher rated centers in the draft; however a torn meniscus late in his senior season has caused him to drop and could cause him to go undrafted in April. He's a 6'3, 311 interior lineman with plenty of experience at both guard and center after starting at guard his redshirt freshman year and part of his sophomore year. Baxter's knee was healthy enough to run on at his pro day 10 days ago.
12:00 PM ET - Tony Pauline of TFY Draft reports that Boise State safety Jeron Johnson is scheduled to work out for the Rams and visit the Jaguars. Johnson is a 5'10, 212 pound strong safety with 4.5 speed that should be drafted in the later rounds of the draft.
Also filed in Pauline's report was the attendance to the Arkansas State Pro Day. The Jaguars were not one of the six teams in attendance to watch offensive lineman Derek Newton. The Bears, Panthers, Packers, Giants, Texans and Rams were.
